Terms of Service

The terms on which we provide PaidDesk. Last updated: 18 August 2026.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PaidDesk software and this website, provided by PaidDesk ("PaidDesk", "we", "us"). By buying or using PaidDesk you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your licence

PaidDesk is sold as a one-time software licence of £595, which grants your business the right to use the PaidDesk application. From the second year, a £99 Annual Software Licence Renewal keeps your licence current — covering software updates, new features and support. There is no monthly subscription.

3. Payments

Purchases and renewals are processed by our payment provider. When you use PaidDesk to take payments from your own customers, those payments run through your own Stripe or SumUp account — the money settles directly to you, and your use of those services is subject to their terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use PaidDesk lawfully and not to: use it for fraudulent or illegal activity; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service; upload malicious code; or use it to send unsolicited bulk email (spam). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

5. Your data & responsibilities

You own the business data you enter into PaidDesk, including your customer records, invoices and payments. You are responsible for the accuracy of that data and for complying with your own legal obligations (including data protection law) in respect of your customers. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party integrations

PaidDesk can connect to third-party services you choose to enable — such as Stripe and SumUp for payments, and Google (Gmail) for sending email from your own account. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Where you connect Gmail, PaidDesk uses only the permission needed to send emails you initiate, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

PaidDesk, its software, branding and content are owned by us and protected by law. Your licence does not transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights in it.

8. Disclaimers

PaidDesk is provided "as is". It is business software, not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace a qualified accountant. You are responsible for reviewing your figures and meeting your tax and filing obligations. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaidDesk will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of data or loss of business arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using PaidDesk at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms. On termination you may export your data where the feature is available.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of PaidDesk after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
